Privacy Policy

Station Street Fitness Studio (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

  • Contact details you give us through forms on this site or in person: your name, email address and phone number.
  • Membership and booking information managed in our gym management system, including attendance, memberships and payments.
  • Health and injury information you provide when completing a waiver or intake questionnaire, or that you share with a coach. This is sensitive information and we only collect it with your consent, so we can train you safely.
  • Payment card details when you buy from our online shop or purchase a membership. Card details go directly to our payment processors and are never stored on our servers.
  • Basic, anonymous website usage statistics (pages visited, referral source, device type).

How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry, book you in and run your membership.
  • To coach you safely, using the health information you have shared.
  • To send you information you have asked for, such as opening updates or a newsletter. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • To understand how the website is used and to improve it.
  • To advertise our services, including measuring whether our ads work.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we use to run the business:

  • Wodify - our gym management system, which holds membership, booking, waiver and payment records.
  • Stripe - payment processing for the online shop.
  • Google - form responses may be stored in Google Sheets, and we use Google services for email.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) - if we run ads, we may use Meta advertising tools, including the Meta Pixel, to measure them. You can control ad preferences in your Meta account settings.

Some of these providers store data outside Australia, mainly in the United States. Where that happens, the provider is bound by its own privacy obligations and our agreements with it.

Website analytics

We use a self-hosted, cookie-free analytics tool (Umami) that collects anonymous usage statistics only. It does not identify you, follow you across other websites, or share your data with anyone.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as you are a member or lead, and afterwards only as long as we are required to for legal, tax and insurance purposes. When it is no longer needed, we delete it.

Security

Your information is held in reputable, access-controlled systems. Payments are processed by PCI-compliant providers. No method of storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email hello@stationstreetfit.com.au and we will respond promptly.

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information and we cannot resolve it with you directly, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
